Enlisting in the Marine Corps was the best decision that I made in my young adult life. I had no sense of direction and I felt as though I was just wasting time and not making any forward progress with my life. Boot Camp was the hardest thing I've ever completed in my life, and the way I see it if you can make it through Marine Corps Boot Camp, anything in life can be accomplished. A lot of time has passed since I crossed that parade deck at Parris Island and became a United States Marine, but I can always look back and say this was my life changing experience.
